Details: This Sunday is the return of the Wilmslow Triathlon, a great sprint distance based around the leafy Cheshire town of Wilmslow. This is a great race for novices and experienced triathletes.
The event starts with a 400m swim in a 5-lane, 25m indoor pool at Wilmslow Leisure Centre then onto the picturesque 24.2km cycle route in the Cheshire countryside through Ashley and Mobberley. The 5.6km run then goes out from the leisure centre along mainly quiet, leafy roads around east Wilmslow.
This event is part of the Xtra Mile Events Tri Sprint Series.
There will be a prize giving after the event, celebrating all those making great achievements, there will also be goody bags available after the race.
This event is open to anyone over the age of 16.
