Who fancies taking part in London Duathlon? A stunning family-friendly event this Autumn around the beautiful surroundings of Richmond Park.

What is a duathlon?

A duathlon is made up of two disciplines – running and cycling, but across three sets of activity.

First you take on a run, then a cycle, before finishing with another run. The distances of each activity vary according to the challenge, with participants transitioning between the disciplines similar to triathlon.

The London Duathlon challenges

Super Sprint: 5K run, 11K cycle and 5K run
Details: This is an ideal distance for those new to multi-sports and aiming to set themselves a fresh personal challenge.
Price: From £68.00

Sprint: 10K run, 22K cycle and 5K run
Details: This event is suited to those short-distance specialists wanting to give themselves a new challenge and maybe work towards their PB.
Price: From £70.00

Classic: 10K run, 44K cycle and 5K run
Details: This is the most popular distance at the London Duathlon.
Price: From £80

Ultra: 20K run, 77K cycle, and 10K run
Details: This is definitely for the very toughest out there… Watch out for those jelly-legs after the cycle!
Price: From £120.00

Classic Relay: 10K run, 44K cycle and 5K run
Details: Get the team together and split the challenge between two or three friends each taking on one discipline.
Price: From £125.00

What happens next

When your event is over, the London Duathlon festival will be on hand for you and your friends and family to make sure you soak up the atmosphere and savour your achievements.

On offer will be plenty of delicious organic food and drink stalls, as well as the best in family entertainment plus the opportunity to pick up the latest in sporting equipment and apparel.
