The Masters is the penultimate qualifying event on the Ladies European Tour (LET), before both the European and United Solheim Cup teams are announced Sunday 4 August, so the pressure is really on to perform well!

So who should we keep an eye out for?

One of the top British players to look out for at this year’s Masters is rising star Charley Hull (pictured above). In the five events she has played this season, she has been runner-up on all occasions (believed to be an LET record), and it can’t be long before she earns her breakthrough win. This could easily turn out to be her event!

Another Brit to watch is Laura Davies. At 49 years of age, Laura has 80 worldwide titles to her name, including four major championships. She is also the only golfer to have played in every edition of the European Solheim Cup since 1990, so a victory at the Masters would really improve her chances of making a 13th appearance in the team.

Also watch out for Holly Clyburn, who won her first LET title at the Deloitte Ladies Open in Holland a few months ago, plus Melissa Reid, who has four wins in five years on the Ladies European Tour, and finally Scotland’s Carly Booth, who secured two wins last year.

So with five fabulous Brits to support, and a beautiful venue there’s every reason to head down, support our girls and watch some great international women’s golf.

And to make it even more special, fancy winning four season passes to the prestigious event? Click on our competition here to find out more. Deadline midday 17 July .
