With Halloween fast approaching why not dust off your scariest costumes and join in The Hope Skeleton run.Open to over 18′s, the five mile course is set in the boundaries of the Beacon Hill Country Park, Leicestershire and will take runners over undulating heathland, woodland, grassland, wetlands, rocky outcrops and meadows. They will also tackle the horror of Beacon Hill twice.
The run will commence at 7.30pm and the route will be marked with glowsticks and fluorescent signs with marshals at numerous points throughout the route. The Race Village/Finish will be lit, but the Start area will not be lit to allow your eyes to become accustomed to the dark.
The Hope Skeleton Run is open to runners of all abilities and nordic walkers.
Entries are only available online but will be accepted up to 7pm on the day if spaces are still available. Parking, toilets and refreshments are all available on sight and whilst fancy dress is not compulsory, it is encouraged. All competitors MUST wear/carry a head or handheld torch. You will not be allowed to run without a torch
