Details: Are you ready to undertake a mission with The Royal Marines? If you want to test your physical endurance, mental ability, teamwork and leadership skills, then this is the event for you.
Round up your friends, grab your outdoor kit and prepare to get muddy on an action-packed weekend which will certainly put you through your paces.
Including fire and maneuver exercises, minefield extraction and casualty evacuations, there is plenty to challenge everyone.
Operation Commando is an adventure weekend designed by The Royal Marines to give everyone a flavour of life in the Armed Forces.
Designed with true spirit and passion, this adventure weekend will be like no other: Help raise funds for wounded Royal Marines and have a great time doing so.
Over 30 serving and former Royal Marines will be guiding all teams through the weekend to provide an authentic Royal Marines experience.
There is a limited number of 24 teams of four people, so sign up now to avoid disappointment. (At the time of going to print, only 16 teams remain).
Operation Commando welcomes everyone from newcomers to elite adventurers, all competitors must be 16 years old or over. Above all, the weekend offers a great opportunity for those with a sense of fun, adventure and healthy competitive spirit.
Entry Fee: Operation Commando starts from just £149 per adventurer or £596 for a team of four.
Operation Commando includes the following package:
- Day one prizes and hog roast dinner at Camp Smokey on Saturday night
- Three nights accommodation at Bluestone Holiday Village. (based on a 5 * self catering lodge)
- Two full days of action packed military activities
- A medal for every participant who completes the operation
- Weekend access to the Bluestone Adventure Centre
The Charity: The role of The Royal Marines Association (RMA) is to maintain and promote Esprit de Corps and comradeship amongst all Royal Marines and their families, past and present. The RMA is established in Branches all over the country and overseas to keep members in touch with one another. The RMA is an integral part of the “Corps Family”.
