Details: Are you interested in having some fun, getting fit and raising money to help stop cruelty to children? If yes, then this is the event for you, The NSPCC’s HACKs (Hike Against Cruelty to Kids) will be holding events across the country.

This event takes place in Buxton Country Park which is great for hiking.

There will be something for everyone with the miles ranging from 10 to 25; everyone is welcome, of all abilities and ages.

These events can be great fun and very rewarding but they are very hard work and the NSPCC recommend that people who want to take part should undergo training beforehand.

Ticket price: £20

Rachel Case, NSPCC Head of Community Fundraising, said: “ The HACK will be a fabulous day out in the great outdoors and a valuable opportunity to help the NSPCC raise money to support its projects and services to help vulnerable children and families across the UK.

The terrain is very varied and the weather conditions can change quickly, so suitable walking boots, clothing and accessories, such as a rucksack, are recommended for all walkers.
