Leeds Abbey Dash 2013

Date
17 Nov 2024
A firm favourite in the running calendar the Leeds Abbey Dash returns for 2013. Details: This year the status of the Leeds Abbey Dash 10k is highlighted further by it being selected as the final race in the prestigious Run Britain Grand Prix Series. A flat fast course which takes runners around the city often leads to personal bests for amateurs and professionals alike. Even if you do not fancy running why not go along, support the competitors and watch what is likely to be a thrilling climax to the Run Britain series.
Brighton Marathon winner Aly Dixon will be in attendance: ”The Abbey Dash is one of my favourite races of the year. I have run it five times now and recorded a PB every time I’ve taken part.”
All runners will receive a medal and a t-shirt courtesy of Age UK upon completion. If you have children who are keen to run there will be a ‘junior dash’ open to all those 8-15 year olds who’d like to get involved, starting 9am, ahead of the main race.
More info: Entry costs £20 for non-affiliated UKA members and £18 for affiliated members.
The junior dash costs £6 to enter. Sign up today at the Age UK events page
