The second of the much anticipated Breeze Challenge events kick-off this weekend with the Lancashire ride and Olympic Silver Medallist Emma Pooley will be there to lend her support in what promises to be a fantastic day.

Pooley a prominent supporter of women’s sport said: “The Breeze programme is a fantastic initiative that encourages women to get back on a bike, and enjoy the health and social benefits that recreational cycling has to offer,

I am very proud to be joining the participants at the Lancashire event and am looking forward to sharing their special day.”

Breeze Challenge Events were created as a direct response to requests from within the Breeze network and both rides offer glorious views through stunning countryside via a 50km or 100km route. Participants will be supported food stations, route support and a host of activities for all the family to enjoy in the event villages on the day.
