Details: Britain’s best athletes will return to the Birmingham Alexander Stadium for the biggest date in their 2013 calendar as 700 athletes take part in the British Athletics World Trials and UK Championships.

With places on Britain’s team to the IAAF World Championships in Moscow up for grabs across the weekend, the stars of British athletics will need to be on top form if they want to secure a place on the British team.

Britain’s two defending world champions from 2011, Mo Farah and Dai Greene, will be keen to reproduce the form that took them to glory in Daegu two summers ago, whilst Olympic heroes such as Jessica Ennis, Greg Rutherford, Christine Ohuruogu and Robbie Grabarz will be ones to watch as they seek to guarantee their spots on the plane to Russia.
