Known as ‘Britain’s Greatest Palace’, the World Heritage site of Blenheim Palace is a stunning base for the Cotswold’s walk. You’ll enjoy woodland trails and picturesque villages while taking in the best of the Cotswold’s splendid rural scenery.

Breast Cancer Care is calling on you to take an Olympic stride to support people living with breast cancer by taking part in a 10 or 20 mile walk. With one person diagnosed with breast cancer every 10 minutes the sad reality is that most of us will know someone affected by this cruel disease.

Starting off in the magnificent grounds of Blenheim Palace, the 20 mile walk follows the oak lined private roads and woodland tracks through the estate before taking us through Ditchley Park where we join the Oxfordshire way back towards Blenheim.

You can choose to do either the 20 mile or 10 mile walk, the 20 mile would take approximately 6 to 9 and a half hours walking including rest stops.

The 10 mile route has the same beginning as the 20 mile route but will take around 3 to 5 hours walking including rest stops.

Remaining within Blenheim Palace’s stunning and diverse estate the route takes in all the highlights of this magnificent and varied park, exploring many areas normally off limit to the general public.

Breast Cancer Care’s Ambassador Denise Van Outen said:

“I went to my first Pink Ribbonwalk last year and I loved it!  It was so much fun. Everyone was so friendly and enthusiastic and the feeling that everyone was there to make a difference for people with breast cancer was fantastic.  My gran died of breast cancer so I grab any opportunity I can to help raise money and awareness for this dreadful disease.  The Pink Ribbonwalk is a great way to do just that so I’m hoping to be there again this year and would encourage anyone else who is thinking about it to sign up and help us to make a difference.”

So, bring family, friends and colleagues, together and you will enjoy a village fete style celebration when you cross the finish line, including a medal, BBQ, massage and entertainment!
