Details: Arthritis Research UK, the charity leading the fight against arthritis, is launching a new fundraising event series in 2012 which is being tested at three venues across England between May and July.
For this date the charity heads for their final event of the series to Worksop.
Move is designed to celebrate human movement in all its forms, whilst also raising money for the charity. The events are open to everyone, with a focus on families, and encourage participants to take part in whatever way they can, meaning that people who suffer from arthritis are not excluded. The more the merrier!
Those wishing to be a part, can choose one of the three main activities to take part in on the day:
- Move on wheels – from bicycles to go-carts, just get rolling
- Move to music – just feel the rhythm and dance
- Move your shoes – from fancy dress to three-legged, stroll it in your own style
There will also be food, entertainment and a variety of taster sessions and demonstrations on offer, including a wide range of movements from yoga to Zumba dancing.
It really will be a great way to have fun and keep moving!
