Olympics: Day Three GB women’s team results
Todays highlight is obviously Rebecca Adlington’s fantastic Gold Medal in the 400m freestyle, the first Women’s Olympic Gold medal (in swimming) for 48 years. And huge praise too for Jo Jackson who took the Bronze Medal in the same event. Elsewhere the Women’s Double Skull Crew of Elise Laverick and Anna Bebington stepped up a rung to make it through to the final and a chance of a medal; and Mary King is lying in fifth place in the Three-Day eventing.
