The England Women’s Head Coach Hope Powell, recently made an OBE, has named her squad for Saturday 19 June World Cup Qualifier in Aranda de Duero, Spain. The squad is made up of the same 22 players who had a 6-0 victory in Malta last month. (more…)

Football: Bristol to be home of UK’s first women’s stadium

Bristol Academy will be the home of the UK’s first purpose-built women’s football stadium when the FA’s Superleague season kicks off next March. The ground, which is costing £850,000 to complete and will have a 1,500 capacity is being built at Bristol’s Filton College base. (more…)
