Hosts Great Britain topped the medal table at K2 Crawley on day one of the London British Open European Cup on Saturday.

Olympic judo star, Karina Bryant, has launched a funding campaign on crowdfunding site peoplefund.it to help her prepare for her fourth Olympic attempt at London 2012.

British Judo’s 28-strong Olympic squad, including 2012 European bronze medallist Karina Bryant, will all compete at the British Open, a European Judo Union recognised European Cup event, at K2 Crawley on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May.

Karina Bryant won her seventh European medal as she took bronze in emphatic fashion on the final day of the individual competition in Chelyabinsk.
