Details: A unique festival mixing culture, surf, art and music is back at the Cote des Basques beach. This event is free, and in 2010 drew a crowd of 43,000 spectators. This year, the Roxy Jam Biarritz will be inspired by California, where 20 years ago the Roxy brand was first born.

Where: Watergate Bay, Cornwall
Details: The event is organised to raise money for Surf UK’s ‘Surfable’ project which provides disabled and disadvantaged young people the opportunity to take part in subsidised surf lessons and give them a once in a lifetime experience.
There will be live music, beach games, family activities, surfing and lifesaving competitions, along with demonstration surf lessons for disabled young people. There will also be top professional surfers at the festival, competing against one another in a round of the UK Surf Tour.
