Here at Sportsister we are in the process of pulling together a short list of events for our Event of The Year award. We’d love to hear which events you have done and loved, and even those that you haven’t.
Hi all…. without question it has to be the ’Stockton-on-Tees River Rat Race”. 10km + of running, inflatable challenges, walking the plank into the river tees (not very warm but great fun though) inflatable slides, kayacking and the grand finale…climbing over Newport Bridge. Great fun and well worth doing next year 
I think it has to be the Deva Divas womens only triathlon. It is held every July at Manley Mere near Chester, Cheshire, run by Chester Triathlon club. I have completed it 4 times now and will keep going back every year. They run beginners seminars and training days so is ideal for those new to the sport!
