Head outdoors with Nike Training Club

Here at Sportsister we love training outside, so when we heard about the new outdoor classes from Nike Training Club we jumped at the chance to take part.

Last week I made my way to London’s Regents Park for the launch of the free Nike Training Club Outdoor classes.

Nike Training Club (NTC) Outdoors is the latest extension of the successful NTC programme, which includes the NTC App, free weekly classes at Niketown London and sessions at both Gymbox and Third Space gyms.

I’ve taken part in NTC workouts before and use the App regularly so I knew what to expect. A tough but fun workout under the watchful eyes of the Nike Master trainers – Brian and Sonia. And that’s exactly what I got.

And now you too can enjoy these sessions – and the best bit is they are totally free, making them an easy, fun and convenient alternative to gym memberships and personal trainers.

The classes focus on five fundamental components of sport and fitness: Strength, Cardio, Core, Balance and Flexibility.

Entry to NTC Outdoor classes is quick and simple. Simply ‘Like’ the Nike Training Club Facebook page and follow the online booking instructions to confirm your place on the weekly classes.

NTC Outdoor classes launch this July in the following London locations:

Mondays at Clapham Common from 18th July 6:45pm – 8:00pm

Wednesday at Hyde Park from 20th July 6:45pm – 8.00pm

Thursday at Regents Park from 21st July 6.30pm – 7.30pm

There are plans to expand the classes outside of London in the future too. But until that happens if you can’t make it along to the classes you can always try out Nike Training Club in your own time by downloading the free app to your iPhone® or iPod Touch® from the Apple App Store.
