Sisters in the Saddle: Thin Bike

Ah the never ending issue of bicycle storage. An eternal conundrum for many of us. The most recent solution to arrive in my inbox is the “ThinBike”. Folding pedals and a quick release handlebar stem takes the width of the bike down from 21″ to just 6″.

Sisters in the Saddle: Bespoked Bristol

I’m off my crutches. Hooray! But still off the bike which isn’t doing my mental well being any good. However, my spirits were lifted by Danielle’s tumblr post from Bespoke the Handmade Bicycle Exhibition in Bristol last weekend. Beautiful, beautiful bikes and all handmade. Well worth checking out.

My relationship with bike shops is tempestuous. For some reason the bike shop environment can be conducive to shop assistants developing a misguided notion that they are in fact God and that you, due to the fact you are a customer and therefore do not work in a bike shop, are filth.
