The Berlin Marathon

The Berlin Marathon started in 1974, and has appeared annually ever since. The very first person to win the Berlin Marathon, Günter Hallas. He still runs the marathon today and was also there on 28th September, when the 2008 version of the race took place. There’s a good chance he’ll be on the streets of Berlin this September, too.
