European Surfing Championships
When: 26th September- 4th October, 2009

Details: The first European Surfing Championships took place in Jersey in 1969 and to celebrate its 40th anniversary they return this September.
The English team regularly features in the top three highest placings in the showcase of Europe’s surfing talent and the calibre of this year’s crew stands the country in good stead for a podium placing. The team has been backed by the Rip Curl ESF Surf School and the women’s Open team will see Sophie Hellier and Hannah Harding play a big part for their country.
