Start planning your summer now. If you fancy combining a trail run, triathlon, ride or open water swim with a weekend away then the Keswick Mountain Festival could be for you.

The Festival has world class sporting events, fun and challenging outdoor activities, festival camping, speakers and live music, so there really is something for everyone. There are a variety of ticket options available from weekend passes to individual event entry, plus your entry to a sports event gives you access to one of the concert nights – sounds good to us!

Running events
The Salomon Trail Races offer a mixture of wide open trails, steady and tough ascents, single track through woodland and open valleys to inspire and challenge you! If you love the outdoors you’ll be blown away by the wide open mountain vistas and bluebell woodland trails, hidden valleys and fast lowland running.
Distances: 5km, 10km, 25km, 50km

Cycling event
Keswick and its surrounding areas offering fantastic cycle routes. The Back o’ Skiddaw Sportive offers something for everyone with pleasant and quiet open roads in abundance.
Distance: 70km

Open Water Swim
With Derwent water right on the Festival’s doorstep it’s the perfect location for our open-water swim events.
Distances: 1,500m, 3,000m

Triathlon
Keswick offers one of the most stunning landscapes in the world, and is a perfect venue for the Festival Triathlons. From the beauty of a swim in Derwentwater, cycling through the quiet country lanes to running along wide open trails through woodland – there’s plenty to inspire and challenge you!
Distances: Long (1500 swim, 36km cycle, 10km run) or Short (400m swim, 18km cycle, 5km run)
