Film: Nicky Spinks record-breaking 45 hour run

Fell running may not be super-glamorous but it captures the imagination and no-one epitomises the sport better than Nicky Spinks.

In 2017 Nicky Spinks made fell running history by becoming the fastest person to run a Double Bob Graham Round. The 49-year-old breast cancer-survivor marked 10 years post-diagnosis by running the 132-mile Lake District route over England’s highest peaks, which included around 54,000ft of ascent, in a time of 45 hours and 30 minutes. It was a story that attracted national media attention.

A film called RUN FOREVER was made of Nicky’s unbelievable achievement – it’s being shown this Wednesday at The Running Works in London (EC3A 7DB) and Nicky will be there for a live Q&A after.
