Sportsister loves: Salomon Drifter Mid Hoody
If you’re looking for a really versatile layer for winter then this Salomon Drifter hoody could well fit the bill. Our tester has worn it for cycling, climbing, walking and as a general top layer for wearing to training. It’s lightweight enough that you can wear under a heavier outerlayer, but equally works brilliantly on it’s own - plus it has the benefit of being reversible - Nice!
It’s hard to choose our favourite outer layer because both are great. They have different functionalities, though, which will help you decide. Wear the shiny side out for maximum warmth and wind protection, wear the stretch side for a casual look and to allow more air to permeate the insulation for slightly less warmth.
The fabric on both sides is really soft and comfortable and the garment really light, which makes it really easy to wear - meaning - it’s one of those garments that always seems right!
For those interested in the tech: The advanced Skin SHIELD Technology protects you against wind and snow to help prevent chills, the advanced Skin WARM technology regulates your Body climate to keep you warm and the PrimaLoft® insulation provides warmth and comfort.
