Nutrition news: get buzzing flapjack bars
It’s no secret that we at Sportsister like to snack, especially after training or during a weekend ride, so we’re always keen to try something new. These new flapjacks certainly hit the mark, they have all-natural ingredients and if you can’t eat nuts then you’ll be pleased to know they are completely nut free!
Basically these flapjacks are pretty much like you would make at home - and that’s a good thing because it means they taste great and don’t have anything in them that you wouldn’t put in yourself.
The nut free, flapjack range consists of Original Seed and Date, Banana, Berry, Cherry protein and Wowbutter, the Wowbutter flavour is exclusive to get buzzing and gives you all the taste of peanut butter without the nuts - this is our favourite!
The High Protein Cherry flapjack is the perfect choice for post-workout recovery with 15g of protein per 62g bar. Coupled with a 2:1 ratio of protein to carbohydrates, it’s the perfect snack to boost your energy levels after a tough training session.
Enjoyed by professional football and rugby players, England cricketers, sprinters and triathletes getbuzzing flapjacks are the perfect addition to your kit bag giving you the edge for optimal performance.
Launched in 2009 by qualified Personal Trainer Kate Wallace, getbuzzing is a British family-run company. The flapjacks, baked and packaged in Oxfordshire, are available throughout the UK.
