Launched to coincide with the world’s top players heading to Turnberry for the Ricoh Women’s British Open, this new campaign is the latest in a stream of #ThisGirlCan inititives aimed at getting more women playing sport.
Ladies European Tour star Charley Hull features in the new national campaign designed to shift perceptions and inspire participation.
Using women that are already playing the game like 15 year old Ellie Lace and BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty alongside established pro golfers Charley Hull and Henni Zuël, the campaign hopes it will encourage women and girls from all walks of like to give it a go!
Charley Hull, professional golfer said,
“I have always had a love of golf, picking up my first club aged two. It’s a fantastic game to play with friends, a great way to relax and get outdoors. It’s been great to be part of #ThisGirlGolfs I hope it will encourage girls to head down to their local driving range or golf club and give it a go.”
