Sportsister loves: Psycle London
Sportsister’s intern Tasha Okeke was was invited to try out a class at Psycle London, a luxe spinning class in Central London. Here’s what she thought:
Think of clubbing, except on wheels - challenging yet energising, set in a room lit only by neon lights and a range of EDM (Electronic dance music) and pop tracks playing to power you through the class.
Unlike standard spinning classes, Psycle likes to take it up a notch; I was equipped with specialist magnetic cycling cleats as well as a towel and set of dumbbells…. The 45 minute workout consists of a challenging cardio workout that not only works your legs but uniquely incorporates upper body exercises to blast your biceps and triceps, as well as exercises that focus on your core, providing a full body workout. Hence the dumbbells!
Fit to drop after the workout, the luxury touch of pampering after your workout is most welcome - Psycle provides you with organic skin care products from Ila and GHD hair styling tools to ensure you look and feel your best once you leave the studio. I definitely recommend this class to anyone in need of a different cardio fix.
