Join the UPRISING in women’s sport

The Women’s Sports Network is reaching out to the Commonwealth to help promote Womens Sport and you can contribute too.
The Commonwealth Games offers women all over the world the chance to engage with competitive sport, watch their heroines and be empowered to get more active. The Women’s Sports Network is using this opportunity to engage with women all over the Commonwealth and help promote women’s sport across the borders
You can follow any of the dedicated WomenSportREPORT channels up to and during the Commonwealth Games 2014. There will be a dedicated women’s results channel and medal table PLUS a real-time sports news service in conjunction with around 50 partners from around the world. All this will give you up-to-date information on what’s hapening in Glasgow with results, pictures and news, all ‘mashed up’ with local news from where ever you are in the Commonwealth.
If you’re a ‘Blogger’ or actively tweet about womens sport/athletes/players in one of the Commonwealth Games areas and would like to contribute to ‘UPRISING’ with your sports stories – please email your Twitter ‘handle’ to jo.c@wsnet.co.uk – and include the country you operate from.
