Triathlon: Non Stanford and Helen Jenkins selected for Welsh Commonwealth Games team

World Champions Non Stanford and Helen Jenkins will head up the Welsh triathlon team for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer.
Stanford, 25, and Jenkins, 30, won the ITU World Championships in 2013 and 2011 respectively.
The third spot goes to Holly Lawrence, with Ironman World Champion Leandra Cave missing out.
Stanford won the world title last year, but a foot injury has disrupted her hopes of defending her crown.
“I have to let go of that hope of defending my world title,” Stanford said.
“But it does mean I can put all of my focus into the Commonwealth Games and hopefully deliver the goods.”
