Football: Jill Scott feeling confident ahead of Ukraine clash

Football: Arsenal Ladies win The FA Women's Cup Final

England midfielder Jill Scott believes any pressure on the team ahead of their 2015 World Cup qualifier against Ukraine will give them confidence.

The Lionesses go into the clash tomorrow as heavy favourites having won all five of their qualifiers so far without conceding a goal.

“I think the extra expectation should give us confidence,” she told BBC Sport. ”If we’re top of the group it can instil confidence and we can go on and qualify for the World Cup.”

England have been scoring freely in their qualification campaign, netting 29 goals without reply in their five games, including a 9-0 thrashing of Montenegro last month.

England v Ukraine kicks off tomorrow night at 7.30pm. You can catch the match live on BBC Two from 7pm. Come on England!
