Athletics: Katarina Johnson-Thompson wins silver at World Indoor Champs

Katarina Johnson-Thompson has won Great Britain’s third medal of the World Indoor Championships in Sopot with silver in the long jump.
The 21 year old led after the second round with a personal best of 6.81m, but she was pipped to gold by France’s Eloyse Lesueur who leapt out to 6.85m.
Johnson-Thompson’s team-mate Shara Proctor fourth with 6.68m.
Elsewhere, the women’s 4x400m relay took bronze behind USA and Jamaica. Holly Bleasdale missed out on a pole vault medal after failing at 4.65m. The British 2012 World Indoor bronze medallist cleared 4.55m on her first attempt but struggled at the next height.
