Tennis: Heather Watson qualifies in Indian Wells

Heather Watson has made it through to the main draw of the BNP Paribas Open in California beating Virginie Razzano 6-1 6-4 and Teliana Pereira 6-2 6-2 to secure her place.

The British number three will now face Belinda Bencic of Switzerland in the first round.

Elsewhere however, British number two Johanna Konta failed to qualify losing 6-4 6-3 to Casey Dellacqua in her final match.
