Sochi 2014: GB curling team in record-equalling win over USA

Great Britain’s women equalled an Olympic record score when they thrashed the United States 12-3 in six ends in Sochi yesterday.

Eve Muirhead’s team bounced back from an opening game defeat to Sweden by scoring seven in one end, which itself has never happened in an Olympic Games before.

GB women face medal rivals Canada at 10:00 GMT today, Wednesday 12 February.
