Football: London Bees announce biggest ever sponsorship deal in women’s club football

The London Bees, the first women’s team for the whole of London, has revealed the biggest sponsorship deal in women’s club football announcing Stanmore College as their main sponsor and official education partner.
“We are pleased to welcome Stanmore College on board as our official education partner,” said Tony Kleanthous, chairman of the London Bees.
“In Stanmore College we have sponsors who not only value women’s football, but are also committed to enhancing the women’s game to a broader audience.”
The sponsorship aims to aid the development of women’s football. It also offers a pathway for students that want to get involved in the sports industry with educational work experience.
“We are very excited about the sponsorship and giving the opportunity to the students of Stanmore College to gain both work and educational opportunities with The London Bees and at The Hive,” he continued.
“The team crest and kit have been designed by the students of Stanmore College and we hope that students across the whole of London will come to The Hive and create a carnival atmosphere cheering on the London Bees.”
