Cricket: England beat NZ to reach final of Twenty20 tri-series

England’s women beat New Zealand by 19 runs in Barbados to book their place in the final of their Twenty20 tri-series.
With captain Charlotte Edwards out injured, Danielle Wyatt top-scored with 37 in England’s 125-8. The White Ferns were then all out for 106, despite skipper Suzie Bates’s 46, as Jenny Gunn took 5-18 and Natalie Sciver 4-21, including a hat-trick.
England will now face hosts West Indies in their last round-robin game tomorrow, Thursday 24 October, and again in Saturday’s final.
