Event preview: Glow in the Park

We don’t know about you, but here at Sportsister we think there’s something very unique and quite exciting about running in the dark - hey, we even dedicated a whole training section in our latest digi mag to night running!
So when we heard about the Glow in the Park events we thought they sounded fab. A winter series of evening 5k and 10k runs set in beautiful parklands throughout the UK , offering you a safe and sociable environment to enjoy all that night running has to offer.
You will don your glow sticks, fluorescent clothing and head torches to light up the night, winding your way along the trail and grass paths tackling whichever distance that you choose. And don’t worry if you haven’t already got a collection of glow sticks, flashing necklaces and torches, The Glow Shop on site will be open at the event where you can buy your gear to make yourself suitably stand out!
Sound like fun? We think so! So why not brighten up your dull, cold evenings this winter and get involved with a Glow in the Park run?
Entry: £13 for 5k and £18 for 10k. Small families (up to 2 adults, 1 child) – £25 Larger families (2 adults, 2 children) – £35. Concessions can me made for groups of runners, contact Glow In the Park for more details.
