Archery: The latest from the World Championships
The very latest from the World Archery Championships in Belek, Antalya.
Today in action, Great Britain’s Naomi Folkard will face Carla Frangilli of the Ivory Coast in the women’s recurve competition, Becky Martin has been drawn against Un Hyang Ryu of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Amy Oliver takes on Mongolia’s Enkhtuya Altangerel.
And the three Brits will face Russia’s Natalia Erdynieva, Inna Stepanova and Kristina Timofeeva in the team competition tomorrow, 3 October.
Our compounders will also be competing today. Rikki Bingham and Danielle Brown are through to the last 48 on a bye, but Andrea Gales must defeat Jeanine Van Kradenburg of South Africa to join them. And in the team rounds, the women have drawn Mexico’s Martha Hernandez, Brenda Merino and Linda Ochoa.
