Archery: Round-up of day one of qualies at World Champs

At the end of the first day of qualification rounds at the World Archery Championships in Belek, Antalya, and our women have already put in some solid performances.

Britain’s top compound woman was Danielle Brown, who finished 10th on 683, with Rikki Bingham at 25 and Andrea Gales at 53.

Naomi Folkard finished 13th in the women’s recurve competition with 1,340 points after shooting at 70, 60, 50 and 30 metres, and Becky Martin ended the day in 43rd spot with 1,308 and Amy Oliver is 66th on 1,289.

In the team competitions, the compound mixed team of Dani Brown and Adam Ravenscroft are in fourth spot, the compound women are sixth, and the recurve women’s team are in 11th place.
