Sochi 2014: Tickets go on sale for Paralympic Games

Sochi 2014 has released tickets for Russia’s first Paralympic Games in the city that is set to take place 7 - 16 March.

More than 1,650 athletes from 45 nations will compete at next year’s Paralympics, vying for 72 sets of medals in biathlon, cross country skiing, ice sledge hockey, wheelchair curling and alpine skiing, as well as including Para-snowboarding for the first time in Games history.

Event ticket prices include all taxes and public transport access, and cost between 350 rubles (£6.70/$10.80/€8) and 1,500 rubles (£29/$46/€34), while tickets for the Opening Ceremony are priced at between 700 rubles (£13.40/$21.50/€16) and 5,000 rubles (£96/$154/€115).
