Cycling video: Breeze goes from strength to strength

What is Breeze?
Breeze is a programme that was set up in 2011 by National Governing Body British Cycling and it’s primary focus is getting more women involved with riding their bikes.
Led by women for women, the scheme is a National Lottery funded nationwide network that includes fun, local and flexible bike rides designed to introduce over 80,000 new women to cycling.
How successful is Breeze?
Since London 2012 Breeze has gone from strength to strength. With added interest from the media and support from its various partners, over 20,000 women are attending Breeze bike rides, and this year they have developed into the largest programme to get women cycling which really underpins British Cycling’s vision to get 1 million women cycling by 2020.
The Cycle show
Recently, Breeze were invited onto the ITV4 programme The Cycle show and below we have the clip of their interview alongside one of their incredible ambassadors Liz Dimmock (click here to find out more about Liz).
Take a minute and give it a watch!
Ride for rewards
Want to get involved? This summer Breeze are offering some great goodies to women who introduce their friends to the programme.
If you introduce one friend who goes on to take part in a Breeze ride you will receive a Breeze water bottle. If you then introduce a second friend who joins a ride, you will be the proud owner of one of our swish Breeze Buffs. And for introducing a third friend who takes part in a ride, they’ll send you £15 of Love2Shop vouchers.
