Girls Get Sporty this summer
Players and coaches from Hertfordshire Mavericks Netball Club, Arsenal Ladies Football Club and Saracens Women’s Rugby Club have teamed up to create ‘Girls Get Sporty’.
‘Girls Get Sporty’ is a fun and active event that gives girls aged 7-15 years old the chance to try out new sports with the help of coaching from the professionals.
Running from 11am-3pm this Saturday, 17 August, at the Hertfordshire Sports Village, girls of all abilities will be able to try all of the three sports and meet the coaches, players and even the mascots!
The event is free of charge and promises to be an action-packed day that includes drills, skills and competitive fun as well as a question and answer session with the players. The girls will receive a complimentary group photo and goody bag on the day too.
So if you have a daughter, sister, cousin or friend that wants to be part of Girls Get Sporty, just click here and sign them up!
