Rugby: England lose 3-0 in Test series against NZ

England Women were unable to win a match against the Black Ferns in their three-match Test series in New Zealand last week.
After a 29-10 defeat in their first match followed by a 14-9 loss in their second, England were again beaten in their final meeting with the score 29-8.
“This is obviously not the way we wanted to finish the tour, but there are still parts of the game that we were pleased with and there are positives,” said England Head Coach Gary Street. “We came here to see where we are 12 months away from the World Cup.
“To come to New Zealand and play the best opposition around gives us a real indicator of where we are and what we have to do before August 2013.
“We have been up and down a little in this series and that was obvious in this game. In the first half we got punished for missing tackles and in the second half we came out and dominated long bits of possession and ball but we weren’t sharp enough.
“They are all things we have to work on over the next 12 months. We are constantly striving to improve and we’ll ensure that happens.”
