GB Divers Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow qualified in sixth for the 10m Synchro final on day three of the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona.

The British pair scored 306.54 in their morning prelim to progress and admit that they are happy with their early form in Spain.

“We qualified really well this morning,” said Tonia (pictured left) afterwards. “I was a little short on a few dives so we can step it up and we’re saving it for the final.

“We just need to sharped up, pull in our toes, get the entries and see where that leaves us.”

Sarah (pictured right) added, “It’s always the same on the prelim and it’s a bit of a practice run. Our final is normally our best so hopefully that will be the same this evening.

“We’re always a bit more nervous in the final, but we’re pretty experienced now and we’ll be using that as good nerves rather than bad.”

The 10m Synchro final takes place today, Monday 22 July, at 16:30 BST.
