Athletics: Hannah Cockroft defends IPC World Title
Hannah Cockroft won the 200m in the T34 category at the IPC World Championships in Lyon at the weekend.

Racing into a headwind of 1.2m/sec, the 20 year old defended the title she first won in New Zealand in January 2011, with a Championship-best performance of 31.76 seconds.
“It’s a massive deal,” said Cockroft on her victory. “The girls knew what I was going to pull out and they haven’t retaliated to that yet.
“It’s been quite a difficult year compared to London so to come out here and show I’m still on top is very positive.”
