Football: England prepare to kick off Euro 2013 campaign today

Tonight, Friday 12 July, at 7pm, England will kick-off their 2013 European Championships crusade against Spain.
The tournament takes place in Sweden, and England have been placed in Group C where they will also face Russia and France next week. Want to know about our opponents? Click here to find out a little more of who we’re up against.
England went unbeaten on their way to reaching Sweden, winning six and drawing two of their eight matches, and haven’t lost a competitive qualifier for over ten years, (when they were edged out by France in a play-off for the 2003 World Cup), so let’s hope they can continue this form.
All the England matches will be broadcast live across the BBC, so make sure you tune in tonight, BBC3 at 7pm. #lionesses #Euro2013
