Recipe: Beetroot, pink lady and grapefruit juice

The weather has been so fantastic recently we’re really hoping that summer has finally arrived and what a perfect time to indulge in some fresh, and fulfilling smoothies jam packed with delicious flavour.

Beetroot-Purees-juicesWe’ve discovered this mouth-wateringly refreshing juice recipe, full of goodness and vibrant colour, and why do we love it?

We love beetroot!

Not only is it a great vegetable for boosting your stamina and making your muscles work harder, it also contains potassium, magnesium and iron as well as vitamins A, B6 and C, and folic acid.

This tasty recipe is a quick and easy way to get your beetroot boost, and what’s more, if you have a juicer there’s no need to peel or core the apples – simple!

Makes: 2 glasses

Preparation time: none

Ingredients:

1 pack of vacuum packed natural cooked beetroot

2 Pink lady apples

1 peeled grapefruit

Method:

1. Put through a juicer

2. Pour in to glasses and serve
