Events week: The Color Run

The Color Run, also named by the organisers as the ‘Happiest 5k on the Planet’, is a unique running race that promises to have you covered top to toe in paint by the time you cross the finish line!

With no winners, this unique and un-timed race is currently huge in America, and for the first time ever, the organisers are bringing it to the UK for two dates; one in London and one in Manchester.

And with there being only one rule to obey, that you begin at the start line dressed all in white, you can complete the 5k route at whatever speed you fancy, and be sure to be doused with paint every kilometre of the way!

But the fun doesn’t stop there, the paint will continues past the finish line with a gigantic “Color Festival,” using even more coloured powder to create some truly fab and vivid memories.

Thousands of you can get involved, friends and family members of all ages and sporting abilities, from first time runners to professional Olympic athletes, just make sure that you go home plastered in colour!
