We love a good film here at Sportsister, and if we can combine an inspiring bit of sporting action, beautiful scenery and creative film making in one, then that pretty much makes for a perfect combination. The Banff Mountain Film festival has all of this, plus because all the films are short - you get to see several in one evening.
This touring festival features a selection of films chosen from over 300 films which were entered in the annual Banff Mountain Film Festival at the end of 2012. With subjects including adventure, action sports and environmental issues it makes for an inspiring evening, the events are intended to be social evenings too where outdoor adventure lovers from all backgrounds (and ages) coming together to celebrate mountain culture, plus audiences have the chance to win some great prizes - whats not to like!
