Recipe: Beetroot, pomegranate and orange smoothie

Beetroot juice is reported to help boost stamina, make muscles work more efficiently and can help reduce blood pressure, sounds great? Try this tasty smoothy recipe for starters or try your own combination using beetroot as a base.

Recipe: Beetroot, pomegranate & orange smoothie

Serves 1

Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: none

Ingredients:

100ml pomegranate juice

100ml orange juice

1 cooked beetroot (1/4 pack – x recipe by 4 if you want it to use a whole pack)

Method:

1. Whizz all the ingredients in a liquidiser until smooth, serve immediately poured over ice.
