York, once the capital of England and the town I called home for many years. If only I was back there this Jubilee Weekend as York will as usual be doing itself proud and hosting the World Naked Bike Ride.

Now in its 7th year the ride allows nature loving cycle enthusiast the opportunity to cycle naked around town without getting arrested.
The ride aims to increase awareness about oil dependency and car culture which is very right on but essentially I think its just looks like a riot (good riot, not balaclava type).

The ride is about 90 minutes long, starting in Millenium Bridge and ending at Clifford’s Tower. The ride’s Motto: As Bare As You Dare – means complete nakedness is not essential but from the look of previous events I think if there was ever a ride on which to vaseline up before hand, then this is it.
