British Red Cross still has guaranteed places available for this year’s Great North Run; the world’s biggest half-marathon.
The 13-mile Newcastle course is one not to be missed with its vibrant, party atmosphere. However, if you prefer the warmer climes of the South Coast then why not sign up for the Great South Run; the 10-mile, fast, flat route is suitable for both experienced runners and beginners.
By being part of Team Red Cross you will be raising vital funds to assist people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are: whether in terms of responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies or helping vulnerable people in the UK.
Not only that but as a Team Red Cross runner you will receive:
• Post-race reception, including refreshments and a free sports massage
• Dedicated support including training plans and nutritional advice
• Coveted British Red Cross running vest
• Fundraising pack, full of tips and advice to help you reach your sponsorship goal
